Industrial
wood fired boiler emission control is an example of a dry
electrostatic precipitator installation. In a plywood manufacturing
plant in Alabama, boiler emission control is achieved with
the replacement of a wet scrubber, increasing air flow to
132,000 ACFM. Pollutants were wood ash. In British Columbia,
boiler emission control at a plywood and lumber company were
achieved with the installation on an elevated structure of
steel. Air flow increased to 120,000 ACFM. Other examples
of dry electrostatic precipitator system installations that
regulate emissions include a Glass Bottle Manufacturing Facility,
a Cogeneration plant, Refining plant and pulp and paper industry.
Environmental compliance is always necessary.
