When
we first started in this field, bench scale pilot unit test were very
helpful in determining reaction kinetics for individual compounds.
However, bench scale pilot test do not reflect the real world of industrial
processes. We then manufactured several commercial pilot units that
were delivered to the process and used to test the gas stream under
real conditions. While these test are less frequent today, they provided
invaluable information and data that was incorporated into our commercial
designs.
PPC
can provide on site research in order to determine the feasibility
of of its air pollution control technology for specific waste gas streams.
Pilot unit studies also allow us to confirm our sizing model calculations
and formulate the final commercial design. A scaled down version of
a commercial system is delivered to the customers facility to test
the actual gas stream.
PPC
is constantly doing research to improve the performance of our products
and reduce the cost. We continually reevaluate our design and challenge
our theories in order to make each new generation of products tougher
and more efficient.
